Sept 28th-Oct 3rd House Update

Finally after passing our inspection we got our insulation in. We decided to put sound proofing in the floor between the basement and upstairs to make it more quiet. I think we will be very happy about that. I love to see the progress on the house and each step just puts us one step closer to moving in. Next is drywall nut until then here are the pictures of the installed insulation

Trav also got the timbers started this week. They are looking really good. They are darker than what I imagined but I think with the lighter siding and rock it will all work great together.

The girls this the drywall is a great stage for them. They are so excited for this house. I think mostly for their downstairs play space.

Em Has Found Her Feet

When I took Em to her 4 month check he dr asked if she had found her feet. At that point she hadn't. The dr said give it a few weeks and she probably will and on cue she sure did. This little girl is such a sweety. She is growing so fast. She loves to pull her feet up and pretty much fold herself in half. At times she losses her balance and rolls on her side its pretty funny.

Hallie's 6th Birthday

This beautiful little girl turned 6 a couple weeks ago! I hate that time goes this fast. She was so excited and has been counting down the days for quite a while. Since her birthday was on a Saturday we took treats to her class on Friday. We went shortly after lunch and just before school got out. Hallie wanted to take pumpkin chocolate chip cookies but I couldn't find them at any stores and we aren't allowed to take home made treats so she decided her 2nd choice was donuts. I got her to stop moving for just a minute so I could snap a picture after she passed her donuts out.

Then we took her home with us and spent the remainder of the evening just hanging out. Saturday Matt had quite a bit to get done at the house so the girls and I made breakfast and got ready for the day. About 11am we decided to head to Mountain Green where they were having an opening for a new development and having a couple food trucks there with food. Matt was able to come and meet us so we got drinks and waffles. Hallie picked a drink called the wiggly work with whipped cream and gummy worms on top of rootbeer with vanilla in it. Our waffles had nutella and fresh cream on them they were delicious.

Em was there but sleeping in her carseat for the entire excursion
Hallie really wanted to go to the drive inn movie so that night we grabbed dinner at her place of choice...Arbys of coarse. We parked then ate, opened presents, and ate cupcakes. Then we settled in with our popcorn and drinks to watch Hotel Transylvania and Pixels.

Luckily since its so late in the year the sun goes down sooner so we were able to stay for both movies and still be home by 10. It was a fun night and a great way to end Hallie's special day. We sure love this special girls and feel very blessed to have her as part of our family

Emery & Grace

Now that Hallie is at school all day I spend most of my time with Gracie and Em. It has been fun watching Emery grow/change. She is getting so big so fast. She has started wanting to sit up so we broke out the bumbo and she loves it. She just likes to look around and take everything in. I can't get over what a good and happy baby she is. I hope all my babies are this way. So far we have done really well 3 for 3. She smiles constantly and is laughing more and more all the time. I don't think there are many things better than when your kids laugh its almost like a sign that you are doing a good job or something.

Gracie loves this little girl. She tells her multiple times a day and is super helpful to me.

Now that Em is getting bigger they interact so cute. Hallie also loves to play with them and they all play really well together. I think it is so cute and heart warming to watch our girls take care of and love each other so much. On this day Gracie was "teaching" Em about all the princess and telling her stories about who knows what
Lately we haven't been great at making sure we get naps in a once in a while when I head to the bus to pick up Hallie this happens. Poor tired Gracie. This girl is full of spunk and personality. She loves jackets and cozy stuff. She has blossomed into such a little person lately and has become a huge helper since Em was born. I can't believe she is almost 4. I love the silly and funny things she says and just her manorisms are so cute and sweet. She is probably the most polite kid you will ever meet. She loves to dress up but also play in the dirt. Just like our other girls we hope they are all well rounded and find things they truly love in life. She is the happiest I have ever seen at gymnastics. She just beams. It brings me to tears to watch how excited she is to try new things and how loving she is. What a great example to me all my girls are at being a better person.
