Nora's Baptism

Today was a great reminder that I am human and sometimes I forget things. I had in my mind that Nora's baptism was at 11 am. Matt and I talked the night before about how we would leave at 10 to give us a little extra time to get there. The next morning when the reminder on my phone went off that Nora's baptism started at 10 I thought I was going to be sick. We left right on time but unfortunately because of my mental lapse we missed the baptism and got there just in time for it to finish. Luckily we were just in time for the luncheon. After the luncheon we went home with Mindy to look over the house and to make plans for her to remodel. If I was her I would sell the house and move somewhere nicer and safer but she likes it there so she is going to remodel.
Liam took a nap and the girls watched tv
I felt bad we missed the actual baptism but glad we didn't miss everything

Kitties & Bubble Party

One day when we came home from dance I was getting dinner ready and Emy came in and said mom come see the new kitties. and sure enough Donut had 6 baby kitties. This is probably the cutest batch yet. The girl waited patiently til they opened their eyes so they could be held.

The primary also did their annual bubble party. We went even though Hallie wasn't feeling the best and had a great time. I was so happy Amy was there she helped with Liam so I could keep an eye on the other girls and take some pictures

After a couple hours in the bubbles and some popsicles we called it a day and headed home. The girls had a great time but were so dirty so the afternoon was full of a warm bath and watching movies. We were all so tired.

Utah Valley Parade of Homes

Oh my goodness we had no idea what we were missing. I thought all parade of homes were created equal and boy was I wrong. I had heard of a few friends going down to Utah Valley for the parade of homes and was intrigued. Matt and I have always loved the parade of homes and have taken the girls for many years. After looking up the houses online we decided to book a hotel and make a weekend out of it. We did about 10 houses a day. We came away completely inspired and dreaming of a house that may well be out of our price range. The girls were pretty good and Liam was just happy to be along for the ride.

Some of the kids spaces were unreal
The tramp pit was awesome
Liam was pretty thrilled with his first taste of ice cream and wouldn't give it back. He also blew through his pants so he was living his best life in just a shirt, diaper, and an ice cream cones.

The outdoor living and landscaping was super cool and something we will definitely incorporate in the future. The girls have all requested the large swinging beds.

I also loved the labeled lighting!! A must for the next house it feels like its taken several months to remember which switch is for which

There was a soccer field in one of the houses under the suspended slab which Hallie thought was really cool
I love locker and there were so many ideas and different layouts it was awesome
In total we saw 10 homes the first night. It was awesome but we were starving we ate dinner at 10 and then got everyone bathed and ready for bed everyone was so tired. We slept good and the next morning we headed down to breakfast before Liam was ready for a nap. While he napped Matt took the girls swimming. They of coarse loved it.
Then after a good nap for Liam and some swimming for the girls we checked out, grabbed lunch, and headed to see more houses.
We took Liam's infant car seat and he napped while we traveled form house to house so that was nice

It ended up being such a fun couple of days. We saw 21 houses in total and we all survived and really enjoyed ourselves. I think it may be a new family tradition

Soccer Camp

Soccer camp has become a summer tradition this is Hallie's 3rd year participating and she loved it just as much this year as the previous. They changed the location this year to Eden park which was nice because its closer. I decided because of the commute we would just go and stay and let the kids play while Hallie was at camp. It was so nice they had a parent area with snacks, water, and a shade. It was just in between the play ground and the soccer camp so I could see all of them. It worked out so well.

This girl is killin it in soccer its so fun to watch her grow and improve
