Ward Christmas Party

Our ward party is such a fun time. They have a great breakfast and then the kids sing to bring in Santa. They all take turns sitting on his lap and getting a candy cane. Another great thing is since the ward has a few kids the line is never very long

Emery was so excited to see Santa and probably more about the candy cane. She still is not ready to sit on his lap but was happy to put in some requests

Gracie lost her 1st tooth while we were at the Jazz game and she was at Nic's house. She used that space for a candy cane holder....pretty clever

Gracie's Dance Recital

Gracie was so excited about her recital. I think she was the most excited about the makeup and the fancy outfit. The dance studio had the recital at Layton High School it was a great place with plenty of space and a great stage. While I ran Gracie back stage Hallie and Preston found my phone apparently.
Gracie was nervous excited because of her solo but once she got up there you would never know. She did so great and we loved seeing her up there doing her thing. She did so great and knew the dance so well

Grace had quite the cheering section...Nic and the kids came
Chris & Krissy
And of coarse all of her cousins that also performed
This little girl is such a bright light in our lives

This little family of mine is my everything and the reason for everything I do
Gracie loves Brit and their relationship has grown a lot since she started taking dance from her
Gracie did such a great job both singing and dancing. After the show we took the kids for a drive thru the Layton Christmas lights and out for ice cream. It was a great night watching Gracie do what she loves to do

Christmas Shopping & Wrapping

Emy has been my right hand in helping me shop and wrap the Christmas gifts. She is at such a fun and active age.

Although its not all fun and games when she lays on the floor and refuses to get up. I left her there for about 5 minutes while I shopped where I could see her before she got over it and got up to join me.

Hallie's Choir Concert at Christmas Village

Hallie has been loving choir and was so excited to be able to sing at the Christmas Village. We got there just in time to see Santa before the performance started. Gracie asked Santa for some books.
Emy still doesn't want to sit on Santa's lap but she was super excited to see him and talk to him from a safe distance away. She asked for a puzzle and a sucker

Hallie asked for some Diary of a Wimpy Kid books

Nic was an awesome aunt and braved the cold to come see Hallie sing. Matt's parents also came but since they started the show late so they had to leave early to get home for some prior plans. I was bummed we didn't get any pictures with them

Hallie is in the red choir shirt on the far left on the front row

After we wandered around and looked at lights for a bit. We got to ride the train and it was so fun even for the adults. We rode 4 times before the line got long

We finished the circle around the village and called it a night. Matt and I helped Nic get her kids to the car and ready to go before we loaded up for the night

It was a chilly but fun night watching Hallie sing. She had such a great time

Rig's Basketball & Kinner's Dance Recital

We had another great weekend where we were able to get a couple events into one day. Rigs started playing junior Jazz a couple months ago and we have been trying to find a time to go watch him play. Nic mentioned Kinley's dance recital so we decided to do catch both in the same day. First was Rigs game. The girls made signs for both Rigs and Kinners
Rigs was so cute when he saw us all there. He was showing his friends all his cousins
Then after the game we headed straight to the recital where Nic had saved some seats.

Such fun to all be together

After the recital we grabbed some dinner at Pizza Factory with everyone. It was so yummy. Great conversation and company

It was fun day celebrating Rigs and Kinners

NICU Christmas Party

This year the Nicu did something different for their Christmas Party and it was a blast! They hosted it at The Dee Event Center Ice Rink. They had dinner catered by Zupas and then we were able to watch the game. It was so fun and I can't wait to do it again
