A Full Friday-Bubble Party, Soccer, and a Play

When I saw the dates for some of our favorite activities I knew it was going to be tricky to get to all of them but we made it work. The bubble party was first and it was so fun for the kids and for me to meet several new moms that had moved into the ward over the last year.

Then off to Hallie's soccer tournament with Kade's soccer team(they had asked her to play with them)

At this point I was tired and ready to call it a night but I had gotten us tickets to see Descendants in Salt Lake. So we grabbed dinner and headed to the play. The girls liked the play but Liam just liked the music and dancing in the isle...oh and the popcorn they all liked the popcorn.

We tried some new snacks...you can see how well they were received can't you?!?

6462 Summit Cove-Playground And Sand

We finally decided to tackle the playground project. We had Nic's kids for the weekend and weren't going anywhere so did it. We started early but it got hot quick. We pulled out the umbrella to put over the pieces to keep them cool.

I wish it would have been as quick and easy as this sequence of pictures but its done and I'm so happy the kids have another place to play...now for sand.

When the dump truck driver showed up and put the 2 dump loads full of sand just outside of where it
 was actually
Supposed to go I thought I was going to cry. I grabbed the kids and we moved as much as we could until we were exhausted. I text Matt and told him I didn't get paid enough for this kind of labor.
Then when he came home over the next couple days we worked on putting it into place and now it looks amazing and ready to be played in.

Visit Gunnison And A Cousin Weekend

Gracie learned to make monkey bread at cooking class from scratch...it was delicious. I love how she lights up when someone requests for her to make something.

Nic was trying to get everything moved and having just told Kim and I that she was pregnant I knew she needed help so I loaded up the kids and we went to help. The kids did great hanging out at their house while Kyle, Nic, and I finished cleaning out their rental and getting things put together at the new house. We cleaned, built, carried, ect. Whatever we needed to do. The kids loved being together so that made it easy. We stayed even longer than I had anticipated but it was worth the trip. I don't know that I would go to Gunnison for anything other than to visit them but that's enough for me. We ended our night by ordering pizza from a local shop in town. They even had gluten free for me and it was awesome.

Brower Lagoon Weekend

It not secret that I don't love amusements parks. I'm not a fan of crowds/lines and I get sick pretty easily but this trip to Lagoon was one for the books. It has rained the night before and was raining the morning of so we debated if it was still even a go but we went. It was Mia's birthday and she had wanted a party at our house and then to go to Lagoon so we were going to try. It turned out to be better than I even imagined. We ran from ride to ride with little to no line. It did sprinkle on us here and there but it was so great.

We met b ack together for lunch because trying to stay together was to hard.

The only ride Liam hated was the pirate ship. He looked terrified the entire ride and asked to never ride it again. We spent the majority of our day with Tiff and Mia since she was interested in the same rides as our kids.

Early afternoon the family slowly decided to leave. Chris and Krissy took their kids home to a babysitter and came back and it was just us and them. There were still no crowds and we were already staying longer than we had planned. We were all having a great time

Now for Liam's favorite ride of the day was the firetruck...are you surprised? This was new for us since the last time we were here. We rode it probably a dozen times. Once Chris and Krissy got back Matt took the 2 older girls to ride bigger rides and I took Emy and Liam to ride more rides. Hallie and Gracie both rode cannibal. They were both terrified and then loved it. Emy and Liam would get off the firetruck ride and run to get back on because there was no line. And we finished our night riding this ride.
