Random October Pictures

The kids and I went out to dinner one night while Matt was out of town. They do so great when we go out usually but Liam has become quite the ham...if you couldn't tell. I love them. They make life so fun.

So far this season the weather has been pretty great but this game that Hallie was asked to play up with Kade's team was miserable. It rained then snowed then the wind blew. They made it through and were so tough but after the game hot chocolate was definitely in order.
We got our first snow. I hope its the beginning of a huge heavy winter
Fall signals so many things to me among one of them is caramel apples. I love to make them and then send them to the school for all the teachers and staff.
Liam and I have been to a couple of the toddler classes at the library and Lima loves it...until I want to take his picture.
Now that we aren't renting the garage out for boat storage we decided to clean it out. It's amazing how much dirt has been collected in this garage
The day after we got out of quarantine for covid Krissy was having a really hard time so we ran to Layton and picked up the kids so she could rest and have a break. We took the opportunity to get out for some fresh air. The kids decided Hallie giving them a ride was a better idea than walking.

6462 Summit Cove-House Pictures

I finally got around to taking some pictures of the house. We are still getting it together a little at a time but it is feeling more like home more and more all the time. Initially when people would ask me about the house and if I loved it I felt like I should say yes but honestly I didn't like the house and was confused as to why. As I spent more time thinking about it I realized that I was resentful toward the house(sound ridiculous I know) and all the time it had taken away from our family to finish it. So many nights spent away from the kids working on the house. But now that I had figured that out I was able to work thru that and moved past it. I now am loving the house and the time and memories that it is allowing us to spend together.

6462 Summit Cove-Yard Finish Up and Asphalt

Finally the day had arrived to do asphalt. We were able to get approved to put sod in but the asphalt needed to be in first. They had to push us back a couple times so the day they showed up we were thrilled. It was super quick and they did a great job. Yay for no more dirt driveway.

And then a week last the sad came. We have only watered it a handful of times and its doing great. Im so glad it has been raining and we were able to get this done before winter settled in.

Wahoo for a finished yard!!! Now to wait a couple weeks to play on it. But now next spring it will be ready to go.

Halloween Demolition Derby

We had been trying to get to a demolition derby for the entire summer but it just hadn't worked out so when I saw the dates for the Halloween one(last one of the season) I bought tickets and we decided we'd figure it out. The weekend before the weather had been cold and wet so I was a little nervous about what the weather could be but it ended up being beautiful. We took layers knowing that when the sun went down that it would get cold but we didn't even end up using all the blankets we had taken.
Liam loved the tractors and skid steers just as much as the cars I'm pretty sure. He was fascinated the entire time.
Our seats were great! There were a few times we even got hit with dirt from the arena. One note to remember next time is that we need to take ear protection for everyone. We shared a couple sets the entire time but there were times it would have been nice to each have our own pair.

Such a fun night
