Gardner Village

Gardner Village is a favorite this time of year and we always love to go with our cousins. We stopped at Wendy's for lunch on the way. When we got there there were a ton of people and we later found out that it was wee witches weekend which didn't end up being a bad thing. This year with the kids getting older we did the scavenger hunt to find all the witches for a treat at the end.

Sometimes a selfie stick isn't fool proof Em is still with us just got cut out of the picture

We have never been there when the witches are out and they were so much fun and had such big personalities it was aweosme

After we finished our hunt we got snicker doodle cookies and made a potty stop before we headed for home.

Once again Gardner Village didn't disappoint. It was one of my favorite trips there although we missed Kimber and the kids I hate that she lives so far away and can't do stuff like this with us but I'm glad Nic is still here and we can still have our traditions even if there are fewer of us

Energy Dance Halloween Party

The girls were so excited to go to their dance Halloween party at the Classic Fun Center. They were asked to wear their costumes and come skating with their friends.
We have so many Halloween parties this year I think the girls will end up being numerous things. Hallie chose Elsa, Gracie a witch, and Em is Tinkerbell
Skating was a little rough until we rented one of these "walkers" they were life savers

We were on our own until Matt got done teaching class and then because we were just down the street from campus he was able to come join us. Once he got there everyone wanted to be with him..lol

Don't let her face fool you Em had a great time skating with daddy
After we skated for about an hour we got tokens and played games and rode a few rides. Em loved the carousel and the horse and rode them several times while the girls played games
Gracie thought she was so funny to put her witch hat on the dinosaur
We had so much fun and are grateful to belong to such a great dance company that spoils us by doing fun things

Gracie's Ouchy

We have been making lots of apple crisp with all of our orchard picked apples. Gracie likes to spin them for me and while changing out an apple the apple peeler slipped off the counter and both of them fell off onto the floor. Gracie landed on top of the peeler and sliced open her eye brow. She was really upset and worried she would have to get stitches again....luckily that wasn't the case.

Once the band aid was in place and with some snuggles she was set and ready to finish peeling apples for our dessert. She is one tough cookie and it breaks my heart to see her so sad and worried about having to go to the hospital again.

WSU Football

We love going to the Weber football games. Football is one of the many things that remind me of fall. Since Matt is an adjunct we get to sit in the CMT program suite box.....which makes going to the games any other way pretty dang boring. We start with a buffet lunch before finding our suite. Then of coarse the girls have to get all blinged out with all the wildcat stuff.

Then once our tummies are full we head outside to enjoy the sunshine and watch the players warm up and then get introduced. Em was so excited to see Waldo the wildcat until he later tried to visit and sit with us in the box....she likes him from a distance

I love this guy he is my rock thru the thick and thin of life

And then of coarse the endless snacks are a definite perk....unlimited cheetos and rootbeer is a kids dream

Our little family is getting not so little any more....man how I love them and all of our fun adventures together
We love Waldo...well most of us do

Im grateful for the opportunities that we get to enjoy in doing other stuff and let the kids try new things. I remember going to Utah State games with my dad growing up and how much fun we had. I want my kids to have those memories

Fall Soccer

Fall soccer has been getting down right cold. Gracie's games are at 930 and at that point the grass is still frozen. We have been layering the kids so they will stay warm and by the time we head to Hallie's game we are shedding layers since its so warm
Em helped herself to a jersey and loved playing with her sister

The dragon dogs theme song
Hallie's coach
We knew at our last game that we would be competing with the weather. It was crazy to watch it come up the canyon. Just as the storm arrived they called the game short by only a couple minutes

The girls stayed warm under the blanket as they took turns sitting out
Attempting to stay warm

We are excited for spring. Both girls have grown and gotten so much better already
