Parade of Home 2017

We have loved doing the parade of home for about as long as we've been married after we finished the house there was a little uncertainty whether or not we would continue to go. This year they offered prizes if you visited all the houses. We were overall disappointed in the number and quality of the houses.

Love these bunk beds but we will need a basement with higher ceilings to do this...maybe one day

This was one of our favs and one of only two we really liked

Joy came down and stayed with the girls all day one day and Matt and I finished the houses in peace and quiet. The house with this view was our favorite we even looked into what it would cost but with a price tag well over a million it is definitely out of our budget

Although it was disappointing it was still fun to see whats out there and if we build again what we would change...this year there wasn't much change

Upstart Graduation & Celebrating

To celebrate Gracie graduating the girls had a camp out that lasted all of  20 minutes before they were back in their own beds but it was a good idea

The next morning we got up and going to make it to graduation on time. They kept it short and sweet this year and it was super nice to just enjoy and then go throughout our day

Then Gracie chose to go to Olive Garden to continue our celebration. Of coarse they all had pasta and red sauce as well as more bread sticks than you would think a little person could put away

We had the best waitress that brought Gracie a special dessert. She loved that it had her name on it. Hallie and Gracie have started playing a game each meal where they ask each other to describe the meal that "they" have prepared. They did the same thing with the dessert. So cute and fun to watch

What a fun day to celebrate Gracie and her graduation. She did such a great job and worked so hard

Yard Work & Built in Grill

This is where the garden is going...the dirt was a pain in the butt to spread thankfully Matt was around to help or I would have given in and rented some equipment to help me

This built in grill was a brain child of how to spruce up the backyard into an entertainment space without spending a ton of money. Its going to look great when its done

Matt went to go and get our rock so we could put it on the grill and it was buried behind these other boxes luckily after some time they got them out

My Sweet Shadow Helper

While Hallie and Gracie are off playing with each other Emery is my little shadow "helping" me with everything. At times Im shocked at how quickly she picks up on stuff and how eager she is to help me. I love her and the spunkiness she brings to this family
