LICE?!?!?

Oh man where oh where do I begin. Valley elementary has had lice cases a handful of time and each time someone gets it Hallie picks it up. I was so frustrated and started looking for somewhere I could educate myself and protect my family. I found Lice Clinics of America and they have been so helpful. They offered to come for free and teach the class. I set up the meeting after getting no where with the principal and the school district. They don't see it as a problem. So I got a handful of friends together to help and we set out to educate anyone that would listen. I had no idea at the time what drama we would cause. We put these fliers in all the stores in the Valley and the grocery store even put them in the grocery bags until someone from the school called and threatened to sue them. That was crazy! I called the principal and he was clueless who called the grocery store but after speaking to him someone called and apologized to the grocery store. Any ways people were mean and said nasty things but I pushed forward with the meeting. We had a decent turn out about 20 people and several others that requested info. I think more people will be interested once it comes around agian but if I never find lice in my home again it will be to soon.

Aly Jo's Baptism

Aly Jo and Hallie have been friends since we lived in Ogden and Erin is one of my only true friends. We were thrilled when we got invited to attend her baptism. Although our lives are so different we somehow love each other and are part of each others lives. After the baptism we ate at Golden Corral it was yummy and fun to visit with the family.

Not many friendships stand the test of time but this one has and continues to. It is definitely something I treasure

Jazz Game

Another perk of Matt's job is Jazz games. Im pretty particular about what Jazz games I go to because I only like to sit in the suites..lol. It allows me to watch the game, have dinner, and also visit without being smashed. This one was great I found I had a lot in common with the people they had invited which always makes it more fun. I love date nights with this guy. He is gone a lot and babysitters are hard up here so date nights are welcomed

Halloween Parties

I have loved volunteering in the girls classes this year and I love the holiday parties even more. I was in charge of treats for Gracie's class and helping with the craft in Hallie's. Em was just thrilled to be a part of all of it.
Gracie was Elana of Avalor
Hallie was Moana
Gracie wanted to do cookies and chocolate milk and they were a big hit
The crafts were so cute and it kept the kids busy

When we got home after Matt's work party we had some fun bags of goodies on the door step. We later found out they were from some neighbors
We had dinner at Sure Steel so when we got home we got all cleaned up and watch Halloween movies. We once again go no trick or treaters so we all went to be early ready for a new month

Gardner Village

Fall brings lots of traditions our way. This year it was pretty crazy getting Gardner village fit in. We ended up going the day before Halloween. I decided to let the kids ditch school but there were still lots of people there. It was still fun to see all the witches and do the scavenger hunt.

I love the way the girls love their cousins and I love how their faces light up when they're together. I also love spending time with my sisters so its a win win for all of us and this trip was no exception

The closer the end of the season came the colder it got. Hallie continued to love soccer but the rest of us were glad to call fall soccer quits

We love when family comes to be part of our Hallie cheering squad
Hallie has loved soccer this season and has grown and learned a lot. She has decided soccer is definitely her thing. We'er excited for her to continue to learn and grow
