Dinner & Escape Room With The Brower's

We had decided to do Top Golf for Kerry's birthday but due to schedules and the cost of doing it we decided to do an escape room. We went to Applebee's first for dinner since its one of Kerry's favorites and then headed to the escape room. It was a fun activity. Unfortunately because of the strong personalities in the Brower family most of the in laws could barely get a word in edgewise. It was quite frustrating actually because it could have been so fun. Thank heavens for Krissy over the last several months we have become quite close and we sat in the corner and visited. So that was nice.

As a side note. Matt and I decided to miss Hallie's soccer game in order to make it work with everyone else's schedules and long story short....we will never do that again. Maddi came down from Logan to watch the kids. She decided, that with her roommates help, that they wanted to take Hallie to her game all together. Hallie called me at dinner crying that she didn't know where Maddi was and that she decided she wanted us to come and watch her. Then Liam was a total handful. Maddi said he cried almost everywhere they went and that made it super stressful and really hard to enjoy myself. I couldn't wait to get home and once we did it took Matt and I an hour to calm Liam down. I don't know that I would vote for an escape room again unless we did it in couples. I had so been looking forward to spending time with Matt as we haven't done a date in a while due to babysitting issues and I was so disappointed with how it worked out.

Liam's 1st Hair Cut

Liam's hair was starting to look a little shaggy so it was time for a hair cut. Matt has cut his hair for a long time so I figure he was way more qualified than I was. Liam did really well and held still for the most part.

Here is the damage
The sides of his hair grow way faster than the rest so Im sure he'll need another one before long. It's crazy to me how fast he is growing and changing, We love him so much and can't imagine our lives were ever without him

Boating With Friends & BYU Games

With Matt in Tennessee with clients for the BYU game that left me home for the weekend with the kids. Lucky for us my parents decided to come up and stay for the weekend. Maddi and her roommates as well as her boyfriend Mike and his roommates came for the weekend and we decided to make it a boating weekend. It was so fun. The weather was pretty cool for boating weather so we spent a lot of time in the sand and letting the older kids play. It was so nice to have so much help with the kids and not be alone.

My dad is the master boat driver. The best mix of safety and fun in one

These little performers loved the music and dancing
Caleb was so cute with the kids and even wanted to feed Liam. I guess he has nieces and nephews that he really enjoys. I was just glad none of them were bugged by my kids and played so cute with them.
My parents were seriously so much help this weekend with Matt gone. One night my parents went to my mom's class reunion and it left me and all the college kids that I lovingly refered to that weekend as the frat kids. They were no help at all. Thank heavens for Maddi or we couldn't have made dinner, served everyone, and cleaned up all while taking care of the 4 kids. It was so much! And although the weekend was fun it was so much work and exhausting so I wont be volunteering for that again anytime soon.

Here are some of the highlight pictures from Matt's trip

Gracie's Bulldog Badge

I got a text from the school with this picture on it. Gracie was recognized for her outstanding achievements and kindness. The principal gave her a cute toy too. She was so excited!
This is the poster she did to introduce herself to the class.

Emy 1st Day of Preschool(2nd Year)

Emy was so excited it was her turn to start school. This is her 2nd year with Ms. Syrina and she couldn't be more excited. There are 10 in her class this year. It should be a great year of learning and growing. We love this little spunky girl

Laundry Basket Fun, Baby Kitties x9, and Hallie's Pre-Birthday

With Liam sick things have been pretty low key. We had stake conference this weekend and the girls found some interesting ways to entertain themselves while we took care of Liam.
Dounut also had another batch of 10 baby kitties! She had them in the window well of the girl bathroom. Luckily she was willing to let us move them so they had a more safe and comfortable place to sleep.
My parents came to visit and since they wont be here for Hallie's birthday she was able to open her gift sooner. It was one of the best gift she could have been given! She loves everything about rocks right now.

Unfortunately one of Donuts kitties died. The girls were devastated. Matt was out of town but luckily my parents were here so my dad dug a hole and we buried it. The girls made it a headstone and decorated it. They named her Angel.
A couple weeks later the girls tried to dig it up so they could see it....lesson learned! We had a good conversation about how we shouldn't do that.

Grandpa Kerry's Birthday

Lucky for us Liam was feeling better when Grandpa's birthday came around so we could go out to lunch with him. It was a fun day celebrating another year older.
Matt was able to take a day off because he was gone over the weekend and spent the morning in Tremonton helping Kerry lay sod. I think that Matt has really realized lately that his parents wont be around forever and wants to spend as much time as he can with him.
