Scatter Sunshine-Easter Project

I'm trying to teach the girls that no matter your circumstance in life that you can always help others find sunshine in their lives. In times like these it can be very hard to find your own sunshine little lone share it with others but sometimes that's just what everyone needs. We decided to make some play doh and stuff eggs with treats and money to spread around the valley hoping to brighten someones day. We took all the girls best friends eggs of play doh and treats as well. The girls really miss their friends.

I hope it brightened someones day because it brightened ours

Utah's Capital Building and the Cherry Blossoms

We were really in need of getting out of the house. Being home all the time has been hard at times and wonderful at others. We have found that the days that are hard we really need to get out of the house. With the weather getting more beautiful everyday it was time to get out and enjoy some spring. The blossoms are beautiful this time of year and the smell was amazing.

As we walked around the capital and talked about when I had been there as well as when Hallie went on a field trip there before school was cancelled. Gracie looked over and found this egg sitting on one of the columns. She asked if she could open it. And when she did she found a dollar and a note that said, "we are in this together." She was so excited and from then on the girls were constantly looking for more eggs with surprises inside. Sadly we didn't find anymore.

Liam is almost impossible to get a picture with him looking at the camera but at least he is in the picture

Then of coarse they had to roll down the grass hill and Liam thought they were hilarious

On the way home we grabbed ice cream and enjoyed some AC. We have missed the sunshine. I miss having a yard for the kids to play in and it was such a nice day to just get out and enjoy God's creations.

1st Day at the Lake

It's so nice to be able to walk to the lake. It's amazing the peace the quiet sound of the waves and the kids giggles brings in crazy times like these.  The kids are able to be kids and I get a minute to just process life. The sunshine is so good for all of us. I'm looking forward to many more days at the lake.

Conference Weekend

Conference weekend was another quiet one do to quarantine. We continued with our normal traditions and got in lots of cuddles, pj wearing, and food.

Sunday morning we made cinnamon rolls and delivered to some friends as a drop and run.

Liam and Milo love the eggs and Milo loves playing with them and chases them all over.

Conference was strange. It was strange to not have a choir or an audience. It was strange to have only a few speakers on the stand. To not go anywhere or see anyone. I felt overly sensitive to many of the topics that were spoken about considering Liam's cancer history. It was a hard weekend but we made it through and even had some fun being together.

Liam 16 Months

This little guy has gotten much busier lately. He has started climbing...on everything. He loves everything with buttons and technology. I often find him on the dining table and up to the computer typing. I can't get mad because he is go dang cute and Im so happy to see him hitting all of his milestones after all he has been through. Caught him red handed

He loves to carry around his phone...or any phone and push buttons. He's not a fan when you need want your phone back
He still loves blueberries and I love his blueberry face

PMLE...anyone know what that is? Well I didn't either until Liam started with a strange blister/rash on his hands. Sine he had no other symptoms and was acting completely normal. I called the pediatrician and she said she had seen it before and that it would go away on its own.

Later that evening Matt and I noticed it was now on his ears. We gave him Benadryl but nothing changed. Worried and the doctors office being closed we did a telehealth visit. They also said is was ok and to just watch it. I reached out on Facebook group called LDS moms. I posted a picture and what was going on and within minutes a mom pasted her sons picture with identical symptoms. Polymorphous light eruption(PMLE) which is basically a sun sensitivity. I was so relieved that it wasn't something more serious.
We love this little man and can't imagine our lives without his spunky self. He is such a good eater, sleeper, loves to be held, and play with his sisters(most of the time). He still loves that darling monkey and is getting better at playing by himself all the time. He is our little miracle.
