Layton Lagoon Day

Layton has it's company party at Lagoon every summer so it was fun spending the day as a family. They offer lunch and had a raffle and prizes.

The big kids always like the big rides so Liam and I always find the Ferris wheel

There's an occasional spinning ride

To Many Dr Visits

Gracie was having some check pains that we decided we better get checked out. After meeting with the Pediatrician she sent us down stairs to have an ekg. Gracie was pretty nervous but did great. Also good news is that they didn't find anything to be concerned about probably likely due to anxiety

Emy had her orthopedic follow up at the PCMC extension in Layton. They did new xrays and then we met with the dr. It was less scary for Emy this time since she had done it before.

Then we realized we were matching so we needed a picture.
The dr was super impressed with how well her healing was going and that she was able to spend more time out of the sling but still avoid usual jolting and and jumping

Dr appts are never fun and we're hoping to spend less time and money there in the future

Dentist and Bike Rides

First the dentist then the bike trail. We too the bikes on the back of the car so after appts we hit the trail.

Stopped to have a break and throw rocks in the river
We got this new tag a long bike on the classifieds and it's going to make keeping up with the kids a lot easier

Touch a Truck at the Library

We were so sad to find the bridge washed out from Huntsville into Huntsville town. We often would ride our bikes to and from the library and although I hope they fix it soon I wont hold my breath

The summer kick off party was so fun! They had a bunch of different vehicles the kids could climb in and on to check out. A school bus
Snow cones for the win

I think the Sheriff's truck was a favorite. They couldn't climb inside but got to see all the buttons

Farmer's Market 2023-Trip to the Train Museum

One of Gracie's summer wish lists was to do the Ogden Farmers Market and it was a fun morning out. Matt found a place that sold Argentinian food. We'll be back for sure

We parked at Union Station so we could stop by them on our way back

We also got some Amish donuts and tried some other in season fruits. We'll be back. Im so glad Gracie had this on her list

May Random

May the time of year where we can start adding color to the yard with a pretty god chance that it wont get frozen. One of my favorite things to do. When the snow melts and things start to green up there is a new energy with getting the yard back in order.

Spring also means soccer is back in season. This is Emy
Trying new recipes with fresh fruit and lemon in this pancake was good but not a repeat. It got soggy pretty quickly
With all the snow gone it was time to get the heat tape up and some of the flashing had fallen off so I climbed up there and got it fixed. Here's my proof I sent Matt while he was out of town. I don't always love that he travels but it does require me to push myself to do and try new things.
Mother's Day pampering for activity days

The leaf blower with the battery has been a game changer...so much faster than sweeping. Some activities the kids are alot more eager to help with. Can you guess which ones?
All the end of year activities. This was for Gracie's 5th grade carnival. We did ring toss and ot was a huge hit and not as easy as the kids thought it would be

Hallie's 8th grade awards assembly

Kite flying
Another great year of Matt coaching Emy
Nate and Kennady brought each of the kids a few polished rocks from their trip. The kids all love rocks
I can't tell you how much happiness my heart feels when I see all these kids together and playing. I hope their relationships last a lifetime

I moved the landscaping around and put the raspberries in the landscaping. They now will get watered automatically and have their own space to be picked on both sides
