Fall Family Pictures

These are the pictures that Matt and Maddi took. I insisted on doing it earlier in the day which made the lighting difficult but we got some great ones regardless.
Emery 4 years 5 months
Gracie 7 years 9 months

Hallie 10 years and a week
I missed out on getting a picture of me with all the kids last photo shoot and Matt definitely made up for it. I love this picture

This picture is in front of our new lot on Summit Cove. I wanted a before and an after picture

Conference Weekend

Our conference weekend was pretty low key. We listen/watched conference and Maddi joined us for the weekend. We made cinnamon rolls and conference cakes. On Sunday morning we went to take some family pictures with the beautiful fall leaves.

The girls have had their ear pierced for about 6 weeks and they got these weird hematoma like things that were oozing. We took them to the dr to find they were infected. A few days later at home we drained a bunch of puss from both girls ears. I am so glad we waited until they were older to pierce them because they have been a huge pain in the butt.

Liam 10 Months

Oh my gosh! When I saw him standing up to the couch I wanted to knock him down. How is this happening? How is he growing so fast? And isn't he so dang cute?! He is doing great eating table food and still loves bottles but only when it's his idea.
While packing the garage we were looking for a way to contain him and this little pool was just what we needed. He loved playing with the pipes and eating snacks in his own little play space.

This little guy is getting teeth so much faster than his sisters. He currently has 5-6 that we can see but he isn't really cooperative in letting us see them either.

He has really started liking playing with the girls and likes playing with pretty much everything that isn't an actual toy. Like this balloon with confetti in it. Endless hours of enjoyment and he has also figured out how to stand up to the french doors and watch out.
His cute little blonde hair is filling in. He is really loving touch and feel books and we have found some that are easily wipe able.
We sure love this little buddy and all the joy he brings into our family.

Date Night with Grandma

Hallie was super excited when she found out she got to attend a play with Grandma Joy. It was the Hunchback of Notre Dame. They had a yummy quick dinner then headed to the play. Nick and Brit were unable to use their tickets so Joy took Kaylee and Alivia as well. They had a great time.

Ax Throwing Date Night

Matt and I have really enjoyed  getting back to the Utah State Extensions the last couple months. We were really looking forward to going ax throwing. Sounds strange but it really was SO fun. The way they did it in the group made it even that much more fun. They put us in teams after a short explanation of a couple different ways to throw the ax and had us do various games to see who would win. It was surprisingly pretty easy but slightly difficult at the same time. We would definitely go again.

Happy Birthday Hallie! Double Digits 10!!!

I don't when or how this happened but Hallie is now in double digits! She is becoming such a fun and sweet young women. This girl loves her sleep and will sleep in almost any chance she gets.
Her 10 year stats are as follows
Height 51.875 inches
Weight 57.6 pounds
She is very organized and a definite leader and has grown a lot when it comes to being a good leader and not just bossy. Something she has said for a long time is that she doesn't like group work. She like to be in charge and do her own thing. But she has gotten much better with that. She is a fantastic student and still loves to read.
For her birthday she really wanted me to bring the kitties to the school to show her class. With her teachers permission we did it and the kittens were a huge hit!

Her teacher is a good balance for her this year and has really helped her learn and grow in a lot of ways
That night she had a soccer game and brought treats. She loved telling everyone it was her birthday and they even sang to her. She is doing so well with soccer and has enjoyed the pre-comp team this fall.

That night we finally opened gifts, she was so excited she could hardly stand it. She got new earrings, a rock polisher, and
glow in the dark stars for her room.
This girl is passionate about everything she loves. We had pizza for dinner that night...another favorite of hers.

With her birthday being in the middle of the week she got more than one day to celebrate. On Saturday I took all the girls and Paige to Color Me Mine in Ogden to paint ceramics and afterwards we all went to dinner.

Paige has been such a good friend to Hallie since we moved here and I hope they continue to stay friends. Making true friends is really hard
On Sunday we did dinner and cake and ice cream with family. Hallie's only request for a cake was sprinkles...and this is what we came up with. She loved it
