October Random

I love the colors that surround our house this time of year! The 2 trees in the island turn a beautiful yellow against the background of all the other colors. Its one of my favorite things about fall in this house.

I'll take the cuddles even from the one that made me a mama so many years ago
Because we have season passes we got an invite to ride the new ride(Primordial) before it opens to the public. It was such a fun ride and unlike anything they already have.

Got to the gluten free expo with the kids. On the way home Liam got a headache and I had a freak out about it. We are working thru what it is but it seems to be associated with his hydration or his blood sugar. It is really hard not to over think it.
So when we got home he laid down and had a rest and when he woke up he felt just fine. It's so weird how that happens
Liam made himself at home in the library while I was running the bookfair. He's such a cute little reader
This is Hallie's vision board....isn't it so cute?!

I was put in charge of Red Ribbon week and we had each of the kids tie a red ribbon to the fence to pledge to stay drug free
Red Ribbon week also means dress up days

Helping with the dishes
Gracie went on a field trip where they were broke into teams and given jobs to complete the mission. Gracie said it was super fun and she'd love to go again

Carson is getting ready to go on his mission and after the temple we met up for dinner at Panda Express. It's crazy that I remember when he was born and now he's headed to Roseville Ca to serve the people there.

Unfortunately the toward the end of the month Chris and Krissy lost the baby they were expecting. She was stillborn. Poor Krissy has PIH and had to endure a rough labor. She had been on bedrest for months. Sometimes its so frustrating not to understand why things happen especially when they don't seem fair. They named her Jovi. The funeral was heartbreaking. She looked absolutely perfect with a beautiful delicate face and dark hair. We did a gift basket for them with lots of self care things in hopes to bring them some comfort.
