May Random

May the time of year where we can start adding color to the yard with a pretty god chance that it wont get frozen. One of my favorite things to do. When the snow melts and things start to green up there is a new energy with getting the yard back in order.

Spring also means soccer is back in season. This is Emy
Trying new recipes with fresh fruit and lemon in this pancake was good but not a repeat. It got soggy pretty quickly
With all the snow gone it was time to get the heat tape up and some of the flashing had fallen off so I climbed up there and got it fixed. Here's my proof I sent Matt while he was out of town. I don't always love that he travels but it does require me to push myself to do and try new things.
Mother's Day pampering for activity days

The leaf blower with the battery has been a game changer...so much faster than sweeping. Some activities the kids are alot more eager to help with. Can you guess which ones?
All the end of year activities. This was for Gracie's 5th grade carnival. We did ring toss and ot was a huge hit and not as easy as the kids thought it would be

Hallie's 8th grade awards assembly

Kite flying
Another great year of Matt coaching Emy
Nate and Kennady brought each of the kids a few polished rocks from their trip. The kids all love rocks
I can't tell you how much happiness my heart feels when I see all these kids together and playing. I hope their relationships last a lifetime

I moved the landscaping around and put the raspberries in the landscaping. They now will get watered automatically and have their own space to be picked on both sides

Emy's Baptism

Emy's baptism was also Memorial Day weekend it meant that we got to have our favorites here with us all weekend. I was so grateful for each and everyone of them. Jumping in to help wherever they could. Emy wanted to do tacos so that's what we did. I swear every time we get together we eat Mexican food but we all love it so it worked great.

Maddi cutting up watermelon

Hallie, Gracie, and Kinner's were so helpful getting Emy's pictures in their frames for the table decor
Emy really wanted a balloon arch. I can tell you it wouldn't have come together without all of my families help. Everyone was blowing up balloons, building arch structure, setting up tables, setting up food. They are always there for whatever I need

Cute Gray

My dad is always a good time

Emy found this cute sign at Ross and we used it for all the decor theme for her entire day. It now hangs in her room to be a reminder of all of these things

Emy got the ok from the orthopedic to take off her sling for her blessing and then put it back on after. She was worried she would have to wait to be baptized

A few of Matt's family came. Kerry and Joy were also there but left early so I missed a picture with them.
Van was having a hard time so Krissy and Van were in the car at this point. We were grateful for their support.
Such a great day celebrating our Emy. We love her and her darling stubborn self. We're grateful that she chose to be baptized today.
