6462 E Summit Cove-Update

 

Framing is finally coming together and taking shape. Some days it feels like we are flying and others like we might never be done.

Liam has never loved loud noises but now that he is getting older he is figuring out what to do when the noises are so loud. He would usually run to Matt or I and bury his head but he can now cover his ears. It's actually pretty cute. And now you can actually say, Liam its going to be loud and he covers his ears. He is growing so fast and getting so smart.

Liam has loved working side by side with Matt on the house When Matt uses a toll Liam is immediately looking for the same one. I think we may need to buy him a toll set.

Cousin Swim Days Take 1

We finally got around to spending some much needed time with Nic and the kids. I love the relationship we all have both when we're together and when we aren't. We decided to go to the pool since then we wouldn't have to worry about the sand. It was so much fun! I love my sister and all the time we get to spend together. I'm certainly not perfect but she has always loved me.

After our 7 little fishies got their fill of water fun we came home for some lunch. The girls made us hot dogs, chips, and watermelon and then once their bellies were full they were zombies in front of the tv.

Hopefully we can get a few more days in like this before the summer is gone. Days like these are the one I remember as a kid with my cousins.

 Our photographer offered to meet us at the house before taking our pictures to document the progress on the house. They aren't anything I would probably frame or blow up to a bigger size but it's fun to see the changes a year makes. A year ago this fall we took family pictures in front of all of the trees in this same cove to document when we bought the lot. It has changed a lot since then and we can't wait til we can move in

Slippers, Hair, and More Furniture

Liam has taken an interest in my shoes particularly my slippers. It's pretty funny to see him wandering around the house in shoes that are way to big for him. He thinks he's so funny.

Hallie is starting to want me to do more with her hair. She has hair just like mine(think and coarse) but the results have been beautiful

I have been starting to look for things for the house and started putting a budget together. It's been fun and stressful all at the same time.

With all of the LVP we will have I'm looking into an automatic vacuum for the floor.

Furniture is expensive and I'm finding I'm having a hard time finding just what I want.

Sometimes Timeouts Happen

 Liam has started to like to color and draw. The girls left their coloring stuff out and he just helped himself. Why does he look so big sitting there?

Doesn't everyone eat ice cream on the kitchen floor when you come home from the house and its so hot?!?!

They framed the satairs completely wrong and had to redo each set another time. Super frustrating and a huge waste of material.
