Cancelled Black Island Farms

The weather went from beautiful warm fall weather to frigid cold in a matter of days. I had waited for  the girls from The NICU to put a field trip together and at the last minute found out she wasn't going to so I did but it was a little to late. The morning of our scheduled field trip it looked like this and shortly after breakfast got a call that they had cancelled all field trips do to the abnormal cold. We were all pretty disappointed but we didn't really want to freeze either. So we will have to try again next year
Liam wore his winter coat for the first time and wasn't so sure he liked it

Sure Steel Halloween Party

Sadly this is the only picture I took at the Sure Steel party but it was a good time...as always. Now that the kids are getting older its nice to be able to visit while they play on the bounce house and slide. We had a good time. This year the girls found their friends and off they went. Matt left for the Jazz game after we finished up and we came home sugared up and worn out....another successful Halloween party

Manor Care Trick or Treat

For some reason this year everyone decided to plan all the Halloween festivities everyday but Halloween. So our once busy Halloween day/evening was now pretty open and we were doing activities a week before. The Manor Care trick or treat was first. With the dates changing it was good in some ways since Nic and the kiddos were willing to come and go with us. It was so much fun . Liam looked so cute! I was worried he wouldn't leave the "hood" on but surprisingly he barely touched it and didn't mind it at all.

Halloween Cookie Making and Finishing Up the Soccer Season

One thing I have always loved about our house is the giant island. Liam is growing so quickly and he has loved  being a "big" kid and eating at the bar. It is so good for so many things...holiday cookies being one of them. It is strange to think this is the last holiday cookies we will make at this island

The weather has been beautiful this soccer season...and we're thankful for that.

Gardner Village

The last couple of years we have been lucky enough to plan our trip to Gardner Village when grandma and grandpa were here in Utah and this year was another one. Grandma even offered to have all the kids faces painted.

Liam was so tired and cried a bunch until I wrapped him in his blankie and then he fell totally asleep. It was short lived but just enough to make him happy until we got home.

They all loved having their faces painted. All the girl asked for princesses and Rigs asked to look like he'd been attacked by an animal...quite the difference

They do such a good job with all of the witches. They have new and creative ones every year

I love all the fall traditions we have. Especially the ones that mean we are spending time together with other family

Mani & Pedi For All

Every once in a while its fun to just head to Ogden and get manicure/pedicure. This time was no different but I decided to take all of the kids with me. They all decided that they wanted manicures and pedicures and Liam was just watching taking it all in. It was such a fun thing and the workers were so cute with the kids. It was a first but it definitely wont be a last.

St George with Andy & Ari

We had such a great time with Andy and Ari last year in St George and we were thrilled when they invited us again. We had to make some date adjustments due to busy schedules but we were thrilled we found a date. We did the children's museum, ate yummy food, went hiking, swimming, and I decided to take the girls to When You Wish at Tuachan. We tried a taco ice cream place that was amazing. It was all so fun. Hopefully this will become a yearly tradition.
