I took the kids to the park to do some ice skating. We didn't last super long but then they decided they wanted to go play on the playground at the same park. It ended up being really fun. I never would have thought to dress my kids in snow clothes and go to the park. We had the whole park to ourselves. I think its something were going to have to do again for sure.
We don't often do much for Valentine's Day around here but the kids usually get a gift and a few treats. We make or do take out of something fancier than usual but really we just spend time together. I feel like love should be shown everyday in different ways and we don't need a day to only do that.
Got the basketball hoop up in the gym...now let the games begin
Now that my dad comes up for work every other week we have enjoyed getting to see him and my mom more. While he was her last time he offered to pull the kids on the sled behind the 4-wheeler. I loved doing this as a kid and have many memories of being pulled around the neighborhood until well past dark. I'm so glad he was willing to continue the tradition with them. I love that we all get to spend more time with them.
This was Hallie's first season playing futsal. I don't know that she would want to do it again but you never know until you try something.
Ms Gauchet has been so great to take and share pictures of the kids in class. Cute Emy loving kindergarten.
This was such a cool project that consisted of over 800 drill holes and fiber optics....it adds so much character to the theater.
