Day 4-Sealife Park

One of the girls requests in going to Hawaii was they really wanted to swim with dolphins. After some research we found see life park and decided to plan a day there. We made reservations for first thing because it gave us extra time in the park. There was another nice family from Utah there that offered to take our picture so that was awesome.

We were able to get in the tank with them and with guidance be able to touch and do a little interacting with them. We wished we had someone that could have taken more pictures while we were in the water but they didn't have that as an option so we paid for these grossly overpriced ones...but we wanted to document this.

Next time we know what to ask and what we are looking for. We were hoping for more time and interaction with them. Maybe on another adventure. After the dolphins we headed out into the park. We weren't sure what to expect but I assumed it would be like Sea World. It was similar just a lot smaller. The bird cage was very entertaining. It was super fun until the bird were full and no longer interested in what we were offering but we had a ton of fun with them.

Then the seal show...Liam thought he was so funny

They had rescued a baby turtle the day before and were going to have him for a short period of time so we were luck enough to get to see and touch him.

They all wanted to make pressed pennies as a souvenir
Ice cream after lunch and then back to the hotel to play in the resort pool and water park

After a while in the pools we found our way to the resorts private beach. We were hoping to rent a water tricycle but we were to late. So we played in the waves and Matt sculpted int he sand.

Another day in the books. Tomorrow we are going to venture a little farther and try some classes making Hawaiian classics.

Day 3-Pearl Harbor & Swap Meet

This was the view from our beautiful hotel...yup that's the ocean.

With it being Sunday we tried to find some laid back things to do. It seemed very fitting to go to Pearl Harbor. There was such a reverence there. We rode the ferry out to see the Arizona...it felt unreal.

The memorial of all the people that died on the Arizona

There were a few places that we couldn't go because of covid but it was fun to wander around the grounds. The size of the equipment was unreal.

Then we headed to the swap meet. We heard great things and they were all true. We had so much fun I forgot to take pictures. Then we spent the remainder of our afternoon at the beach and that evening we walked to a locate mall area that had Duke's in it, a restaurant we were wanting to try. They had this cute sign.
The food was yummy! I had heard so much about this hula pie and had to try it. We ended up putting most of it in a box and taking it back to the hotel since we were so full.
