Associated Foods Trick or Treat

We were lucky enough to join Nic and Kinley at the Dick's trick or treating in Centerville where Jill works. It was crazy and the girls got tons of candy in about 10 minutes. They were thrilled and had an awesome time. I think it was a good trial run for trick or treating. When I asked the girls what they wanted to be for Halloween I was surprised when Hallie said Tinkerbell. Gracie quickly chimed in with she wanted to be Tinkerbell as well. After some persuading for her to pick something different she picked Jasmine. Of coarse tinkerbell and jasmine are 2 of the only costumes we don't have to dress up in so we went on the search and found these darling outfits. I think the girls were the most excited about wearing makeup..lol
Em slept on the way there and woke up just in time to catch a few minutes of the action. I packed her costume but decided she was happy just to watch for today. I don't think she knew what to think about all the people. After we finished I was glad I didn't put her in her costume since she had pooped thru her clothes
Rigs had decided to go hunting with Kyle so it was just us girls

Needless to say the girls were thrilled with their take home. Kinley wasn't feeling well so we trick or treated for about 10 minutes they turned around and headed back home.
Having kids makes holidays so much more fun. They are so excited for the next couple of months and all the fun stuff we are hoping to do

Friday Night Shenanigans

Often times Matt travels on Thursdays and Fridays with his teaching and my work schedule. This Friday night Matt needed several things to work on the house the following day and that left me and the girls to collect all of it since he was flying in late. The car really looked pretty silly. The girls kept laughing. We bought batting to make a few blankets, the address block for the rockers  to put on the house, and soe cement board to form up the driveway
Oh how I love adventures with these 3 special little girls

Gardner Village 2015

What is there to say about Gardner Village. It is a nostalgic place for me. It reminds me of times spent with my mom and sisters. Sadly none of them were able to be there with us this year but we still had a great time. The weatehr was great and fall was definitely in the air. I love all the witch displays and how creative they get while decorating.
I love to walk thru the shops and get decorating ideas and just window shop mostly. I like to see the girls run from one witch to another so excited to see what they are doing.
The dance stage is always a favorite to get giggy with some spooky Halloween music
The girls were really unsure about this witch they thought she was going to suddenly move and grab them
The girls loved getting some food to feed the ducks and having them chase them. I love that it was pretty unbusy so I could let them run free.

When we got there I told the girls they could pick either a treat, toy, or to ride the ponies and they both decided to ride the pony without a seconds hesitation. While we waited for our turn to ride the horses we were able to walk thru the petting zoo that had lots of fun animals.

I remember when I was young I remember Kimber had a basket that she frequently would try to collect money so that she could buy a Shetland pony. These would have been perfect for her

Then the girls got to be real "cowgirls" with hats and everything...they thought they were pretty cool
After we rode the ponies Em woke up so we took a break and fed her and then finished up seeing everything before heading for home. Hallie said her favorite witch was the one with the cat and mouse that chase each other under a witches skirt

These girls and their dddy are my whole world. I can't imagine my life any other way nor do I want to. I found a quote the other day that I have never seen and I think I will go back and buy the plaque. It says Motherhood. The hardest job you will ever love. Oh how true that is.

The of coarse we had to make a stop to watch them make caramel apples and taffy in the candy shop
Then we rushed home to get to the dentist on time for the girls visit. We made it just in time. This was the first time Gracie had ever sat in the chair by herself and let them clean and polish her teeth with nothing but a smile...usually there are tears. I was so proud of her

Gymnastic Days

These girls are still loving gymnastics! It is something they look forward to every week

And while the girls do their gymnastics Em and I watch. She is super into sucking and chewing on stuff and has been for a while now. I keep thinking she is teething but still nothing...maybe she just likes to chew and drool

House Update Oct 12-24th

Matt is moving forward with the deck. At this point we will just cover it in sheets of plywood and then in a couple weeks put down the treks so no one scratches it up.

The girls and I like to spend our Saturdays up helping Matt do whatever we can to help. The girls we in charge of collecting all the nails in their bucket

This little girl loves to get dirty and no better time or place to do that than when they are doing sheetrock...right? She has sheetrock on her shirt, pants, hair, and face, Both girls love to go to the house to play
Getting there one sheetrock piece at a time. I can't wait to be finished and to sit in the house and just enjoy it. It is really coming together

This time when we went to visit we decided to take chinese so we could have our first "picnic" in the family room. Its to the point now Im starting to imagine living our lives in this house. Playing with the kids, putting the christmas tree up, I think it will all be so great

The view out the front never gets old...it will only get better once they move the dumpster and porta potty..lol
They have the scratch coat and scafolding up for rock. Why oh why can't things come together faster? I really can't wait
