Today was Gracie's 1st dance class. I decided that since Hallie would be doing preschool that it would be fun to do a mommy/gracie thing while she was gone. So we decided to do a mommy and me dance class. So this morning after getting Hallie off to preschool we got ready and were on our way. Gracie kept twirling in her outfit and she looked so stinking cute.
I only wish I could say class went that well. There were 2 other little girls in the class. And to put it nicely it was like herding cats. Gracie didn't want to do anything she was asked and was content to say all done the last half of the class. We will see how the next month goes...and then decide if we will keep going. But after dance we went to pick up Hallie from preschool...home for lunch...then off to pick up Nic, Rigs, and Keners to go do some shopping. We went to City Creek enjoyed how unbusy it was and then headed to the splash pad at the one end. The kids had a blast, got soaked, then ran into each other. They ended up with a fat and bloody lip...so it was time to go home.
On the way home it started to rain and then it turned into a down pour we couldn't see the road and at one point in time wondered if we should pull over til it slowed a little. But we did make it home safe and sound. What another fun and exhausting day spent with family.
