We are having to be creative when it comes to getting out and doing fun stuff. Winter can be hard. We have loved the Huntsville ice rink since we moved here. There is something about it that is so nostalgic. I really love early out days and the couple extra hours it gives me with the girls. We decided to try out the rink for the first time this year. It was a blast. Liam and I rotated between the ice and the car to stay warm. Emy's skates ended up to big so she just "skated" around in her boots and she was happy with that.
Once it got dark it was cold. So we headed home for warm baths and dinner followed by awesome ice cream sundaes. These girls were pretty proud of themselves and later that night I think they regretted eating so much sugar!
One of my goals for 2020 is to take more candid pictures. Emy is really into doing hair right now and if you sit down she seems to migrate toward you with her hair stuff.
Hopefully we'll get more chances to go skating at the ice rink. They did it bigger this year so there are often hockey games going on and still plenty of space to skate for fun. I love this little town we live in
