When we tried to eat out for Gracie's birthday we couldn't get a reservation that was less than an hour and everyone was starving so the day after we planned better and went to dinner early before heading to Salt Lake to Monster Jam. She was thrilled when they let her pick a dessert for her special day.
We planned ahead and dressed warm and took blankets and ear protection. It was fun to see all the trucks and something we had never done before
But it didn't take long for a us to realize it wasn't as exciting as we'd hope it'd be. The kids quickly lost interest and Vivint arena seemed to small to host the event the trucks didn't have the space they needed to do more tricks. It was just the same thing over and over.
Near the end the kids decided to make beds on the ground and hang out. Not long after that we decided to pack up and head home. It was fun to try something new but probably not something we will do again.
I love my little family and all of our adventures.
