Often times I do my best to stay busy while Matts gone just because it makes the time go by faster. Last week he was in Florida for 5 days so it was time for a project. Because of stolen bases in the World Series. Taco Bell was giving away tacos so we went through the drive thru and got everyone some tacos.
Then we headed to Home Depot for some lumber, Dollar Tree for for the candles and moss, Michaels for berries, and lastly Smiths for the pumpkins. The girls and I decided how big we wanted to do it then the next morning we used the saw, cut the board, stained them, glued/nailed them together, and then added all the accessories. Although it took longer than the description above it was a lot of fun and cost less than $15 bucks. It was also nice to find the desire to craft again since having Em and building the house I have just lost interest so that also made it a lot of fun. And I love how it turned out
And sometimes while Im in the middle of something this little one helps herself to coloring with her sister and just so happens to color on herself...luckily it was washable and came right off.
