San Diego-Day 1-Flight, Midway Ship, and Swimming

We have been looking forward to going on vacation for sometime now. We bought a trip to Hawaii shortly after Liam completed his treatment but then covid happened and things are still serious and strict in Hawaii so we decided to do a California trip until things get better. So off we went. Hallie enjoyed Liam's headphones

The kids and I waited for the bags while Matt went to get our rental car.
Then we headed to the hotel . We ran across the street to a local target and got groceries and snacks. Then got dinner and headed to get settled at the hotel. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel and headed to the Midway ship at the harbor. It had so many cool historical things to see and learn about. They had a voice box that you could scan and hear about the specific item or area.

Once we made our way outside the wind was blowing so hard so don't mind when you can't see our faces because there is hair in them. We didn't expect to be cold but it was.

On the way back to the hotel we decided to grab lunch at Cheesecake Factory it was delicious and we got cheesecake to go. Once we got back Matt wasn't feeling well so he laid down and fell asleep. I got the kids ready and we headed to the pool so Matt could rest in peace. We had a great time.
