Skiing Take One

 It took us a while but we finally tracked down everyone some reasonably priced ski equipment and got out skiing. Matt was here as well but he had us go ahead because he wasn't ready yet and the kids were ready to get on the hill. Matt and I weren't sure how everyone would do knowing it had been a couple years since everyone skied consistently so I was glad we had got together. We stuck to the magic carpet until each of the kids could show us they they could turn and stop. All three of the girls got it quickly and wanted to go up the lift so I stayed on the carpet with Liam while Matt went with the girl. There came a time when Liam wanted to go up on the lift. That wasn't the smartest thing we did all night and it took us a while to get down and Liam said he would stay on the carpet the rest of the night because the lift was to much work and stayed on the carpet we did. Emy went back and forth between Matt and I whether she wanted to ride the lift or stay on the carpet. By the end of the night everyone was feeling better about their skiing abilities. Liam was even figuring out stopping and the turn thing seems to come easy for him. It also makes me grateful for all the time and effort my parents spent getting us out and going skiing. It is so much work to get everyone packed and ready...I'm usually tired before we get there. But its worth it because we all love it.
