So with the holidays approaching it was yet again time to make some candy only this time we got together with my sisters and the girls cousins. We were all pretty excited. We each picked a treat and brought the ingredients to make it we then split it between all of us. Kimber chose caramels and decided to try microwave caramels..they turned out just as good as stove ones. Nic choose graham cracker crack...seriously addicting. I picked peppermint brownies so we had a good mix. Here are the 3 cooks in the kitchen and my beautiful sisters. Maybe one day my mom will live close enough to join us.
And while the 3 of us cooked this is what the 5 little monsters did....but really they were fabulous. Kinley slept most of the time and the other 4 were pretty content to play and watch a show.
Hallie asked to borrow my phone and took some selfies...lol
Most of the kids did really well without naps but poor Luke was so tired and wouldn't give in
These 3 sillies have so much fun together and keep themselves very busy
Once this little ham got up she enjoyed watching us and eating her snack in her new favorite place to sit.
And here are the results of our labors and it was all delicious
So much fun to do things with my sisters to catch up and to also let the kids play. Although it probably will never be convenient to get together it is always worth it.
