This little guy has been a great eater from the beginning. He latch instantly with a nipple shield and was really good at staying awake until he was done.
We spent most of our day resting, cuddling, eating(I love hospital food and getting to order whatever I want whenever I want is a mom's dream come true), and just staring at him. He continued to do great with nursing using a nipple shield and some SNS so he was getting more milk than what I was producing and seemed pretty happy about it.
Wed morning after all of us got some breakfast he got his first bath. He didn't like being cold but seemed to really enjoy the warm water.
When she washed his hair he ended up having more hair than we originally thought.
And his 1st outfit
Wednesday afternoon we got our first visitors(minus some NICU friends that stopped by). Grandpa, Grandma, and the girls came to visit. Grandpa looked pretty happy holding his first grandson that will carry on the Brower name.
The girls were excited and debated a little as to who would get to hold him first but Hallie won out and got to hold him first.
Our FOUR kiddos
Grandma & Grandpa Brower
At the end of the day I wanted to sit up in the chair for a bit so Matt laid in the bed and held Liam. He has waited a long time to hold another little one like this. He loves when they fall asleep on his chest and just melt into him. It was the perfect way to end our first day with him.
