Cali/Disneyland Here We Come

Originally we were supposed to leave on Saturday but with the funeral we were able to change our flights to Sunday morning so we could be at all of the services. It was stressful and exhausting trying to have anything ready and have a weekend packed full of a funeral but we did our best to make it work. Saturday night on the way home Matt tried to check in for our flight only to find they had rebooked our flight for Monday not Sunday. It ended up being in our best interest because of the error they gave us a better timed flight than we had to begin with. So Sunday morning we got up and off to the airport. We looked like quite the circus with all of our luggage, car seats, and children.
This is Liam's spot for the week. We also rented a stroller and carseat but since he likes to be held I assume he will primarily be in here

The kids love their electronics on the flight and it makes the flight very quiet
Matt is just the best thing to ever happen to me. He will do whatever whenever that needs to be done. Babywearing, suitcase, and carseat carrying all while looking this good
Poor Gracie was so tired and fell asleep within minutes of getting the rental car
After we got settled we ventured out to find dinner before going to get groceries. Our hotel had a great location and several restaurants really close to the hotel. We decided on Red Robin. We had to wait for a few minutes for them to get our table ready but the girls didn't mind. They wanted their picture taken with the bird mascot.
Dinner was super yummy and the girls all ate great. They even sang to Grace and brought ice cream for her birthday since we are on this trip celebrating her. When we came in they had balloons for the kids. We told the girl if they were good they could have one when we left and of coarse when we left they were out. Luckily we asked the hostess and he was able to get each of the girls a balloon.
We were able to make a stop at Target and grab groceries for the upcoming week then back to the hotel to get ready for bed. It didn't take long after baths and pjs for everyone to be out. I stayed up feeding Liam and Matt laid by Em it took all of 5 minutes and everyone was out. There was a lot of discussion as we tried to figure out where to stay and making sure we had enough room. Ultimately we decided to pass on the airbnb because of cost and used Matt's travel points to book a hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out. Gracie and Hallie slept on the pull out. Matt, I, and Emy slept in the 2 queen beds and we rented Liam a pack n play that we set up next to our bed. It worked out pretty well. Looking forward to tomorrow and getting this vacation started.
