Our last days at the park was a very very wet one. Luckily we came prepared. Someone had suggested buying a shower curtain to cover the double stroller if needed and I tell ya if we hadn't had it we probably would have just headed back to the hotel. It poured and everything that wasn't covered was soaked pretty quickly. We headed to the inside activities while Matt got fats passes. Even though it was raining there were still several people there
Disney Jr inside for the win
The lines were slightly shorter so we used our fast passes and rode Toy Story several times in side out of the rain.
Matt took the two older girls to ride Tower of Terror and we went to meet the Wreck it Ralph crew
The day started very wet and made the day definitely more complicated and difficult to enjoy but with a couple breaks to the infant care center to warm up and the diminished crowds since they shut down most of the ride when it rains it worked out. Late in the afternoon the rain went away and the sun came out and ended pretty good. I think we rode the Ariel ride the most. The line was non existent, it was inside, the girls loved it, and Matt and I could ride together with Em and Liam so we got to just visit. The girls were at a great age. Since Gracie was 7 and Hallie 9 the girls could ride rides with each other while Matt and I rotated on the rides Liam couldn't ride to ride with Em. Next time we go we'll be sure to go after Em's 7th birthday so she'll have the freedom to ride with Hallie and Grace as well. I have mixed emotions about whether I would suggest taking a newborn to Disney. If you weren't breastfeeding it would have simplified the process a ton but Im glad we came and were able to spend the time together.
That morning we went to catch the shuttle and he never showed come to find out he left early and never even stopped. While sitting in the lobby the shuttle once again left us. The hotel staff felt terrible and called him to come back and get us. When we came back that evening we had some fun surprised waiting for us. Gift baskets with a super cool card and balloons for the girls
I felt very bittersweet that our trip was coming to an end. I loved the family time but we were all so exhausted I was ready to go home and just do nothing. The kids all slept well and we got up the next morning with no where to go. We had a nice relaxing breakfast and packed. We headed to a nearby store and let the girls pick out a treat for the trip home and a souvenir before heading to the airport. Im so grateful for the time and means to do things like this. I love my family
