This year Nick's birthday was the week before Thanksgiving so Brit invited us all to dinner at her house. We had a good time. The kids spent most of their time downstairs playing so it made it really nice for the adults to get to have some conversation upstairs. Brit captured this cute picture of Hallie and Kaylee during dinner.
We did learn something new about our Gracie. She does best with quite and controlled environments. The kids were downstairs playing and Gracie came up with her hands on her ears. When I asked her what was wrong she said, "there are to many people and to many things down there." Pointing to the basement I had never seen her like that but honestly Im not surprised our house is pretty quiet and organized and when you get a bunch of kids playing it is about the opposite of that! But she was content to sit on my lap and play. It was fun to get together and enjoy some yummy food. Happy birthday Nick!
