Sunday morning it was sadly time to head back home and to reality. Once we got packed and went to church with mom and Maddi so we could save bye to my dad since he had bishop meetings. We stayed long enough to take the sacrament and say bye and then we were on the road again. We drove straight through til we stopped to get food in Cedar for lunch. Shortly after that the girls had a rest Hallie woke up about an hour later and watched a movie, cuddled her blankie, and drank her rootbeer while Gracie slept.
Poor Gracie must have been exhausted she slept for 3 hours and didn't wake up til we hit Salt Lake so the ride was really short for her.
After Gracie woke up she was being so silly and kept hiding under her blankie and laughing both the girls thought it was hilarious.
We seriously could not ask for better kids there was no crying or whining on the long drive in either direction. They traveled great, they listened, they were such a joy to take on vacation. We got home about 3:30pm got unpacked and settled. We made dinner and continued to unpack while the girls played outside. They were so excited to see wide open grass space, their sandbox, trampoline, and swing set. I really missed all the green and loved pulling into the driveway knowing that we were home in Utah. I missed Utah!
