Spring also means graduation. We were lucky enough to go down to Chris's bachelors graduation. Matt and Chris's graduations were both only a couple hours apart on the same day so we knew that Friday we would never make it to both so we made arrangement to go down to on Thursday to his graduation. We left the girls with Nic and Kyle and headed down I was really glad we did made the time to get down there and be part of Chris's special time. It was just us and Kerry and Joy so we also had some good conversation and caught up. Mitt Romney came and spoke. I felt like the graduation as a whole was pretty entertaining and interesting. This is a view from our seats. It was fun to try and pick Chris out of the sea of black cap and gowns.
We got out just as the sun was setting it was beautiful. Just as we walked out 6 black hawk helicopters flew by in formation it was really cool so see
We were able to get some pictures before it got to dark.
We took our time getting back to the car since the traffic was so busy. Then we spent another hour waiting to get out of the parking lot. We took Chris and Krissy back to their apartment and finally got to see their place. It is just perfect for the 2 of them. Chris is now planning on working for the summer and will work on getting more certificates the next school year while he finishes out his track career. Krissy is also planning on finishing her associates degree. We are excited to see what they decide to do with their lives.
