As the school year comes to a close the fun stuff and activities are at an all time high. Hallie was so excited when she found out they were having a "teddy bear" picnic where the kids could each bring their favorite stuffed animal to have a picnic with. Hallie has always loved one stuff animal or another. The bunny, which is currently her favorite, she won at the manor care easter egg hunt and she hauls that thing just about everywhere. This is the morning of the picnic as I dropped her off...she was so excited.
When I picked her up she was all ready to tell me all about the picnic and how they played games and even shared their snacks with their furry friends. They have also been talking a lot about spring, bugs, and insects. Hallie has been loving it she tells me all the time that this time of year is her favorite.
I can't believe Hallie's kindergarten year is coming to a close. This school year has gone so quickly in a lot of ways but Hallie is beyond thrilled to go to 1st grade next year...mostly for break time she says.
