Day 3 California Adventure Here We Come

We were up and ready to go on a new adventure and explore a new park. We once again had a map and a plan with where and what we needed to do in order to get everywhere in the most efficient time. The shuttel was really crowded this morning so we squished together so there was space for everyone. We got to the park once again before opening and got thru security and into the park.
Matt headed to get us fast passes to 3 different rides/events(world of color, frozen live, and cars racers) while the girls and I went toward where Elsa and Anna were greeting guests. We were the 3rd in line and the girls were really excited. The wait was inside where the animation theater is also located they had huge screens with that cycled thru several of the movies with music and showed how they put drawings to life it was really incredible to watch.

I definitely noticed that at both parks alot of thought has gone into all the details. This was on a curved wall when you walk into meet Anna & Elsa

We hit up Bug Land and found it to be a little boring and the rides really short but the kids tried each of the rides at least once while Emmy got a little nap in

I love this amazing man...I always knew he would be a great dad but he has surpassed my expectations and is the perfect dad for our girls and hubby for me

Then it was time for our Cars Racers fastpasses. We once again did the rotating so we got the most out of our passes as described in our Disneyland post. While Matt took Hallie and Em slept Gracie and I wandered around Radiator Springs.

The Cars Racer quickly became a favorite just the right amount of fun and excitement
In Radiator Springs they had a dance party several times a day we caught a couple of them and had a great time

The other Cars rides were also a lot of fun

Quite a few shows would stop in the middle of the road they were a great way to break up the walking which really wasn't as bad as many explained
The layout of the rides was also nice so while Matt rode California Screamin we could ride the carousel

We liked the farris wheel...we did a stationary one. The height freaked me out a little bit and I was crazily thinking that the doors would open at any moment and we would all fall out but of coarse that didn't happen

Hallie was not thrilled about riding the swings and pouted until the ride started and then of coarse she loved it

Emmy was so good. She cat napped when she needed to and was pretty good about riding in the stroller. She got whatever she needed for snacks and even chewed on a pen for entertainment

Then it was time for some down time....the Frozen live show. We got pretty great seats and the kids really liked the show. There was even enough singing and action that Em sat still and watched it

I was sad the pictures turned out so dark because the background was beautiful
We made the mistake of leaving the map in reach of Em and she so neatly ate a corner of the folded map that just happened to be the middle
The dancing cars were fun I was only sad we couldn't all ride but we took turns and Em dance by the gate

That night we headed over to World of Color. I was very dissappointed with the whole experience. Although we had great tickets we were crammed together on the same level as a ton of other people and could hardly see. Luckily we were standing near some nice people that let the girls squeeze up by the gate so they could see and we held Em on top of our shoulders...the songs and what we could see was nice but I was dissappointed we couldn't really see

After the show the park was closed and we headed back to the hotel closing the book on our 3rd day at the park.
