Disneyland Day 2

We started day 2 about the same as day one up at 8 and to the park before the gates opened. We rode a few rides and then once they opened Pixie Hollow we headed over to meet the Fairies.

First we met Silvermist

Then Tinkerbell....so exciting. Gracie told her all about how we had seen all of her movies and how Hallie was Tinkerbell last year for Halloween it was pretty funny. She just kept talking
Em was also slightly mesmorized...only slightly

The girls and I headed over to Toontown while Matt got fast passes. When we got there there was no line for Roger Rabbit ride so we decided to try it. We were glad there was no line because it was dumb but at least we got to ride it without having to wait to find that out.

We climbed thru Chip-n-Dales house
Everything was just about the right size for Em
Then the girls tried out the toon car and Matt met up with us

We decided since we hadn't seen Mickey we might as well so we waited for a few minutes and then got to meet him

The lighting in Mickey's house was terrible but we took pictures anyways

Just as we got to Pluto they said he was taking a break so we just took a picture of the girls in front of him
While Matt waited in line for Goofy the girls and I wandered a little thru Toontown

We didn't have long before we got to Goofy so we headed back just in time

As we headed back to catch one of the short plays we noticed no line for the princesses so we hurried and went to go meet them. First Snow White

Then Ariel...Em loved her

Cinderella was last

Em was obsessed with the camelbac water bottles whcih was nice because is was easy to keep her hydrated
Splash Mountain was not a good experience for poor Hallie. After the first time she thought she wanted to try it again but once we got started she cried the whole way. Gracie didn't mind it but I think Hallie freaked her out.

This was our 2nd day at Disneyland so we watched quite a few shows and just ride our favorite rides. It was slower paced than the first day and once again the kids decided they didn't want to go back for naps. One of my favorite parts of Disneyland was Mickey and the Magical Map. Although it was a great show and very well put together my favorite part was watching Em  and the girls mesmerized and react throughout the show it was so fun. Her face completely lit up and she jumped/pointed/squealed/and was so so excited about it.

We ended up seeing the show 3 times and this guy was the best at his part so fun

At the end they shot confetti out of the ceiling. The girl fashioned necklaces and bracelets out of them to wear the remainder of the day
After the show we rode some rides and then headed to get a place for the parade. While we were waiting we made some friends with the ducks since most of Em's food was ending up on the ground

Then the parade started

The girls were exciting to see what would come around the corner next

The video of Em loving Mickey and the Magical Map
That night as the park was closing we grabbed a few pic. I was really in disbelief that we had survived 2 days of opening and closing the park but we had been having a great time. And we were exciting to spend the next couple days exploring California Adventure
