This darling sweet girl turned 4 this month. She is a spunky, silly, and fun girl. She is her own little person and fills a void that our family had before she came along. She loves to read, color, play/watch electronics, and play with her dolls. Her and Hallie are best friends and their imaginations together are unstoppable and come up with things you could never imagine. She loves most tv with Disney channel still being her favorite. She will eat pretty much anything or at least try it before deciding she doesn't like it. She can write her whole name and count to over 100 with a few reminders. She knows all of her ABCs and can't wait to go to school. She is very social and loves everyone. She has learned to speak her mind and is probably the most polite child I have ever met. She has become more tender hearted recently and it breaks my heart to see her cry. She loves for you to read or play with her. Her favorite books right now are the mama lama books. She loves music and can sing peat of every song on the radio. I know that my savior loves me is her favorite bed time song. She finds about every excuse in the book to get out of bed at night(which drives me crazy most nights). She still naps most days even though she says she isn't tired if she lays down for 10 minutes she is snoring. She loves hot chocolate and would drink it all day if you would let her. She is loving sunbeams and has become our reminder to read scriptures and prayer. She frequently quotes scripture stories(I assume) that her primary teacher tells her. She was insistent that her and Hallie both get their own scriptures. She is a pretty remarkable little girl.
The morning of her birthday our view from the house looked like this. She said it looked like our house was floating on a cloud like a castle for her birthday since she was a princess. It was pretty sweet
That afternoon Matt and I attended my cousin Blair's wedding so the girls all went to Brit's house. Gracie was super excited to play with her cousins for her birthday
She met us at the kids dance studio to take them back to her house. She had to leave Livy at a friends house so she could fit them all in her car. This was the way they got back to Brit's
They had a ball. They played with Playdoh, had breakfast for dinner, and played wiggle cars for hours.
She loved the gift they got her. It was a tube full of ponies of all colors. She was so excited to open them and play with them.
Once we left Brit's we rushed to get to gymnastics since we were running late and it was snowing like crazy. Gracie was insistent that she get to go to gymnastics so that is what we did. Once we got there they sang to her and she had a blast. Then it was home to bed after a busy day full of birthday fun.
We love this girl and can't imagine our lives without her.
