Decisions...decisions! After the hard time we had deciding on tile we then had to decide how to space them and what color grout to go with. Luckily we worked thru it pretty quickly and they put it in that same day...we can't waste any more time for sure. We decided to go with a random staggered pattern which means there really isn't a pattern at all and a very small grout line for ease of cleaning it.
The tile guys were so quick at putting them down. Im sure it helped that the tiles are 18x32 but in the large space they don't feel that big at all. They were able to get all the tile on the floors down in 1 day!
With Matt Florence back in town he was bale to get the railing started. I was so ready for the railing I have been so worried someone would fall down the stairs where they are open at the top
And while the tile guys were in one place the painters were in the other. The painters were able to get all their prep done while the tile guys worked on the opposite floor. They worked it out really well.
We really liked how it turned out but it is so dirty right now its hard to tell what the real colors are

The painters hooked all the door together like this to paint them easier...I thought it was pretty clever.
Matt did a great job at getting all the closets in. We weren't really sure how to lay out the closets since we have never done this but I think it turned out really well.
Nick and Carson were able to come up and give Matt some much needed help on Saturday morning getting more finish work done. Specifically they worked on the built ins in the master and the mud room lockers
The railing went in pretty quickly and turned out beautiful! I can't wait to see it all stained
All prepped for paint with the windows and floors covered
It has been really hard this week to get to the house to see the progress there are so many people there I just feel like we are in the way which is fantastic! We are getting there a little more every day
